Tibet, a land as splendid as it is, which attracts increasing number of visitors around the world to explore its beauty. However, with its high altitude of 4,900 meters (16,000 ft), there are still some pre-tour knowledge you must know before your Tibet tour. In this article, I will share with you all its Low Pressure & Oxygen Shortage.

Image1. Low Pressure & Oxygen Shortage
When the same with the oxygen quantity in the air, with the altitude increases, the atmospheric pressure decreases. While above 3,000 meters, the available amount of oxygen to sustain mental and physical alertness will decreases. The oxygen quantity in Lhasa (Alt. 3650m) is only 62% of that in Beijing, the number decreases to 49% at the Mt. Everest Base Camp (Alt. 5200m)

As a result, the symptoms of headache, lightheadedness, short breath, insomnia, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, and lassitude may occur individually while you arrive in Tibet. However, there are still a large number of people who are not subject to the high altitude.

Countermeasures:
Having a good attitude is very important to you, most of time, the AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is triggered by the fear of the high altitude, and a positive attitude helps reducing the chance of the AMS.

Do not carry out visiting activity on the arrival day, take more time to rest and acclimatize. Keep away from exercises, such as climbing or running

Prepare some AMS pills according to your doctor’s suggestion. Diamonx has been proved useful in preventing the happening of the AMS. Note that Diamonx is not an instant fix for AMS; it speeds up part of the acclimatization process which in turn helps to relieve symptoms. The only best way shall be descending to lower altitude if symptom is serious.

History of Canton Fair

Developed as a channel to promote trade with the rest of the world, the Exhibition of Chinese Export Commodities (the precedent of Chinese Export Commodities Fair) was established in the autumn of 1956.

Looking back at the forty years traversed by the Trade Fair, we can well see that huge changes have come off in each aspect of the Fair like the Fair’s exhibition space, products for export, number of foreign visitors, business turnover, and so.

Serves as a historical witness to the development of China’s foreign trade, the fair has faithfully recorded the pace of the country’s growth.

It is China’s largest trade fair of the highest level, of the most complete varieties and of the largest attendance and business turnover. Keeping its traditions, the Fair is a comprehensive and multi-functional event of international importance.

Forty-seven Trading Delegations, being composed of many hundreds of China’s best foreign trade corporations (enterprises) with good credibility and sound financial capabilities, take part in the Fair, including foreign trade companies, factories, scientific research institutions, foreign invested enterprises, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, private enterprises, etc.

Besides traditional way of negotiating against samples, the Fair holds Canton Fair online. Even though import business is also done here, however it leans to export trade, Apart from what is mentioned previously, various types of business activities such as economic and technical cooperation and exchanges, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consultation, etc. are also carried out in flexible ways.
